About the Practice

At Contemplative Psychiatry, I offer a thoughtful, integrative approach to mental health care — one that honors the complexity of your inner life and the uniqueness of each person’s path. This is not a practice built around quick adjustments or stand-alone medication management. I work with individuals who seek a deeper, more reflective, and sustained therapeutic process involving curiosity, integration and alignment.

My work draws from:

Depth-oriented, relational psychotherapy

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

Wisdom traditions informed by contemplative practice

Somatic awareness and embodiment honed in yoga teacher training and practice

Expanded states including but not limited to psychedelic work (preparation + integration only)

End-of-life emotional and spiritual support grounded in death-doula training

Complicated Grief Therapy

Evidence-informed pharmacology (within an ongoing therapeutic relationship)

My work is grounded in respect for the full diversity of human experience, and I am committed to offering an affirming, welcoming space for queer, trans, and gender-diverse individuals, immigrants, and people of color.
